According to a few of the fat man's apologists; we'd have won yesterday if Nolan had played. Their excuses are now as hilarious as they are deluded.

i don't think getting in the face of the ref was a key factor yesterday.

we need to offer a threat on both wings and cole needs to be on the bench.

You're making it sound as if it's a new phnomenon, people have always left games early.

Re: West Ham v Southampton - Official Match Thread 1-3 FT
the reason it bothers me isnt what you think. Its the fact that it destroys my and fellow fans remainder of the game. Trying telling the old girl in front me aged 82 to "get over it" who cant see whilst these day trippers file out muttering and moaning blocking the view and expecting people to get up and down every 30 seconds just because they want to be first in the queue for the tube. These are the same cunts who turn up ten minutes late and are out five minutes before half time. Maybe its a problem that comes with the DMU however the east lower emptied like there was a fire drill from what I could see.

On a 3 pm KO day when theres no travel problems, walking out on 20% of the match when we're still in it just very meeeeh.

Dont get me wrong, Im all for futile guestures - ( I was out of the stevenage game at 10 minutes, albeit looking for a beer and couldnt be arsed to return )

To me the players looked jaded and knackered. Southampton's looked fit and full of running.

Strange really that our manager is an expert on stats but only takes no notice of them when they show how many chances we missed and forgets the ones that show how shit we are.

The same tactical genius that uses stats to show that hoofball is best.

The same manager at the forefront of Sports Science then allows the sports scientists to decide when players can play and how long they can play for! And now there's a report they don't want players stressing muscles too much by all the shooting practice!

And the same manager that always sends players out for the 2nd half rather uninspired by his team talks.

The same manager that has Mark Noble as our dead ball expert so I wonder how shit must the rest be?

I look at our squad and cannot help but think this is a squad that should do much better...

supporters will not be easily tempted to leave early if they have something worthwhile watching on the pitch....this team and THAT manager have little to offer to warm up the fans

Re: West Ham v Southampton - Official Match Thread 1-3 FT
w4 - I've never really known why that bothers some people, it's never bothered me. Infact if I see some people doing that I normally think they're not daft and good fro them for voting with their feet, while I'm sitting there like a mug. Take yesterday, it made a much more productive use of your time to leave 15 minutes early to get up the bar first or get to the staion before the rush, rather than sitting there bored watching us being humilated by a Southampton outfit put together by a new manager in a couple of weeks. I rarely leave early but have no beef with those that have seen enough. Get over it.

Re: West Ham v Southampton - Official Match Thread 1-3 FT
w4hammer that's nothing new. I've seen fans leave around 75 minutes even when we were playing well and the score was level because it 'too cold'. That's been happening ever since the modern day chinless wonders infested The Boleyn.
But the fans had every right to be annoyed yesterday; just as I was on Tuesday night. We've had 12 months of this shit.

Re: West Ham v Southampton - Official Match Thread 1-3 FT
w4hammer, despite Southampton losing so many players their squad would still stand up against ours even before spending their cash. The way they have invested in youth and in the transfer market over the last 4 or 5 years is paying dividends and you can why they would attractive to someone like Koeman.

Whereas we have done very little investment probably until this summer most purchases in the transfer market have generally been to plug holes and with youth side is producing very little if any of Premier League quality I honestly think lots of top managers would look at our squad and say no thanks.

Any manager like Koeman confident of commanding a decent salary elsewhere would certainly do exactly that and look elsewhere.

BFS will never be the manager to make us the side we want us to be and I am sure the owners know that but I am sure it is simply a fact that they are not confident now is the right time for us to attract the man who is.

Im more dismayed at the cunts who decide to leave the ground at 2-1. Same fucking "fans" who moan about the hight cost of football, yet run off like spoilt kids on 75 minutes.

cunts

I've heard a few tits moan about the fans singing 'fuck off Sam Allardyce' yesterday as we're only 4 games into the season. The fat man's arse kissers don't seem to appreciate that such songs/discontent are a continuation from last season and were as inevitable as the herpes which infest the fat slob's gob.

Re: West Ham v Southampton - Official Match Thread 1-3 FT
Koeman has instilled more discipline, and tactical nous in four weeks that sam has at west ham in four years.

Not many players had a good day yesterday however they are part of the malaise that seems to have set in.

Attacking the manager every time we concede a goal isnt really productive tho , is it?

Re: West Ham v Southampton - Official Match Thread 1-3 FT
It's fuck all to do with Nolan not playing, how in that case do you explain Palace?

I'll explain it, under Allardyce, we are a reactive team, and the game we are playing in is completely dictated by what the opposition do. We NEVER have the higher possession percentage in any league game, because we let the opposition have the ball, keep it tight, and hope they are having an off day creative wise, then hope to score with percentage football.

That was all good and well getting us up, then keeping us up, but you just can't progress with that sort of football. We've added a top class midfielder, and good attacking left back, striker options, yet we still play exactly the same way at home. It's not good enough now, we need to try and move forward.

So Sam can't influence things from the side? Not surprising when the fat cunt spends the game slumped in his seat.

Who is at fault for the poor fitness levels?
